Hello, Kate,
Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Having a stroller while visiting Walt Disney World can be such a helpful addition for
little ones not only at the theme parks, but also outside the parks. I know for us when our sons were younger, the time we really needed our strollers was at the end of the day when we headed back to our resort and all 3 of our sons had fallen asleep. I also really appreciated having the extra storage our stroller provided us with since we always travelled with so much stuff while at the theme parks.
Walt Disney World does have some rules for using strollers that you'll want to follow:
1) Strollers larger than 31” (79 cm) in width and 52” (132cm) in length are not permitted. Stroller wagons are also not permitted.
2) Strollers are not allowed on escalators. Use of strollers is permitted on elevators and ramps, available at certain locations.
3) A child must be removed from his or her stroller while riding on a parking lot tram.
4) Do not leave personal belongings in an unattended stroller.
5) Strollers may be moved by a Cast Member due to operational needs.
Please know, too, that there are also
Stroller Rentals available throughout the Walt Disney World theme parks and
Disney Springs.
Wishing you a magical trip! Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
