    I'd like to bring my older kids to the Lion King show @ AK, but I'm wondering if my 11mth old will get scared at the darker parts of the show. Have any moms brought a baby to show? Is it easy to step out if he starts crying? (Hubby can stay with kids).

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question! 

    When I visited the Walt Disney World Resort with my son when he was 13 months old, one of his favourite attractions was the Festival of the Lion King! He just loved all of the music and colours… at least for the first 10 minutes, after which he started to get a little squirmy! Although I didn’t have to leave the show, in part because they changed songs/performances just frequently enough to keep his attention, I saw several parents making a break for it with their equally squirmy or upset little ones.

    Please make sure to tell the Cast Member that will be directing you to your seats that you’re anticipating having to leave during the performance, and they’ll give you instructions for how to do so quickly and safely.
