I’d like to book a trip for October 2020, if a promotion is released after I book, can I still apply that promotion to my package so I can get the best deal?

    Hi Kelli,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I love checking the Special Offers section of the Walt Disney World Resort website. It’s always fun to dream about a Disney Parks vacation and finding a great discount always temps me to make that dream into a reality.

Based on my experience, the answer to your question is… sort of. Typically, you can’t apply a promotional offer to a vacation package that has already been booked. You’ll need to cancel your existing Disney Resort Hotel Package and then rebook your next one.

The good news is that promotions typically come out well before any cancellation fee deadlines, so you should be able to cancel your existing reservation and book a new one with the same promotion. Please note, however, that your choice of Disney Resort Hotel and preferred vacation dates may not be available, so you may need to be a bit flexible when you re-book.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect vacation for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
