Bright Suns, Lydia,
Our Resistance forces on Batuu will be pleased to learn of your plans to visit. The First Order has been busy and we need more recruits to help us defeat them.
Oga's Cantina is a must-visit. We always stop in to catch up with other Resistance allies. The good news is that you can book a lunch at
50's Prime Time Café and make a reservation at Oga's Cantina as long as you do not try to make them within the
same time period. You should be able to, for example, make a reservation at 50's Prime Time Café for 12:00 noon and pick up a reservation at Oga's Cantina for 2:10 p.m. If the reservation times are too close together, the system will prompt you to pick which one you want to keep as you make the second reservation.
Consider your day on Batuu as you make your plans. It sounds as if you might want to explore off-world first, do lunch at 50's Prime Time Café, and then head to Batuu. On one visit, we visited Batuu first and had difficulty getting back to our lunch reservation at 50's Prime Time Café. So, plan carefully. Once you arrive on Batuu, you may not want to leave for lunch elsewhere. Given the many travelers with plans to visit Batuu, you are correct in making plans for
advanced dining reservations.
If you are committed to joining the Cause, make a reservation at
Savi's Workshop 60-days prior to your visit. For the young Jedi in our family the lightsaber building experience was necessary to their training. I appreciated the patience of the Gatherers and even I was able to complete the build. Consider also visiting
Droid Depot and building a droid. Our girls loved this experience and were elated when we got the droids home.
Lydia, continue making careful plans. Time is of the essence. Prepare your crew. I sense that the Force is strong in your group. Review the process to join the
virtual queue for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Your soon arrival gives us courage!
Good journey,
Donyell
