Hiya, Christie! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a sweet question!
You are someone after my own Disney planning (and dining) heart. I
love the lively vibe of both breakfast and dinner at
Chef Mickey's. With delicious food, our favorite pals and the monorail soaring by overhead, it's just the perfect way to start or end the best Disney day. Of course, no meal is complete without a sweet treat, so let's chat about the most important part of any meal - dessert.
While the buffet offerings at Chef Mickey's are the Chef's selections and subject to change, when we were there recently, there was no soft-serve ice cream or sundae bar, unfortunately. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." There was
no shortage of dessert selections, and there was definitely something delicious for everyone. When we were there, we had cookies, cupcakes, warm apple crisp, tres leches cake, boba tea mousse cups and more! Your sweet tooth is sure to be satisfied.
Before or after your reservation at Chef Mickey's, be sure to stroll around and explore both inside and outside of
Disney's Contemporary Resort. Be sure to get a picture with the iconic Mickey sculpture outside and admire the Mary Blair mural in the Grand Canyon Concourse inside the Resort. See which one of you can be the first to spot the iconic five-legged goat! Have the best time!
While this probably wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Christie, I hope it was at least helpful! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
