Is ice cream considered a snack on the dinning plan

    Hello, Fred!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding the Disney Dining Plan! I have to tell you that I LOVE using the Disney Dining Plan for my family! The convenience and ease of prepaying for your meals is SO NICE and really allows you to enjoy each dining experience without the hassle and stress of figuring out the cost of each meal.

Now, are you ready for some MAGICAL news?! I am very happy to inform you that certain ice cream items ARE considered a snack on the Disney Dining Plan. The snacks are required to be a single-serving item like a frozen ice cream novelty (Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar) or a Pineapple Dole Whip (which is my absolute FAVORITE!). Ice cream sundaes are even considered a snack! Just look for the snack icon when ordering to know which items are considered a snack at each participating restaurant.

If you have other questions, please let us know! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
