Are ice chests allowed inside Pixar hotel when staying for 4+ days?

Greetings, Alexis, and welcome to planDisney! I love the Pixar Place Hotel – the bold colors, whimsical art, and references to beloved films are all so fun, especially for my kids.

Alexis, rooms at the Pixar Place Hotel typically have a mini refrigerator, which you can use to keep items cold. If you have additional perishable items, it is OK to bring a cooler for use in your room. There are ice machines, usually not far from the elevator area, and you can use the ice bucket from your room if you need more ice.

Just keep in mind that coolers larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high are not allowed inside the theme parks, and they can't be filled with loose ice. If you are bringing a smaller cooler into the parks during your trip, use reusable ice packs instead.

Let's talk more about the Pixar Place Hotel. The standout feature of this hotel for me is the rooftop deck, which features a pool, splash pad, large waterslide, interactive games, themed fire pits, and an open grassy area. My kids spent so much time here during our last stay! On nights when Disneyland has fireworks, you can even watch them from the deck – the view is amazing, and the music from the show is played over speakers.

From the hotel, it's fairly easy to access the theme parks. I love to catch the Disneyland Monorail for a smooth ride into Disneyland. Make sure to check out activities exclusively for hotel Guests, too, such as complimentary movie nights and hotel tours. Fitness classes can also be booked for an additional fee.

During my last stay, one of my favorite things to do early in the morning was to go to Sketch Pad Café when my husband stayed back with my sleeping kids. I'd get a latte and just spend a few minutes admiring the décor before going back up to the room to get ready for a full day of fun. You can get anything from a latte to an espresso con panna, and I appreciate that there are a few different milk options.

Alexis, I hope you have a fantastic stay at the Pixar Place Hotel. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
