    Ian going to Disney world in early August 2022 and am wondering when magic band plus will be a available to purchase

    Hello Denise!

    I am excited, just like you are, about MagicBand+, which is scheduled to make its grand appearance sometime this year (2022). The launch date for MagicBand+ has not been announced yet. I would keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements on the roll-out of MagicBand+. I will be in line with you to purchase the new MagicBand+ as soon as it becomes available!

    The new MagicBand+ will do everything that a MagicBand does and more! Some of the exciting new features of the MagicBand+ include customizable color-changing lights, haptic vibrations that will bring experiences to life, and gesture recognition. Knowing Disney, I think there will be other magical surprises with the new MagicBand+!

    I hope you are one of the first to use the MagicBand+ on your August Walt Disney World vacation if they are out by then!
