Hi Catherine! I hope you're having a wonderful day, and welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you stopped by. As a military spouse, it's my pleasure to assist you today. On behalf of all my friends here, I'd like to thank you for your service. Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite places to create memories, and I'm excited to help you make some of your own.
I'm happy to share that there are many special offers available to 100% disabled veterans. For park entry, you can purchase
Disney Military Salute Tickets, available in 4- or 6-day options. My new personal favorite is the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket, which allows unlimited entry through December 18, 2026. These tickets can be purchased at Shades of Green or your local base's ITT office. Please note that these tickets require a
theme park reservation. When purchasing, you will need to present a
valid military ID. If you buy directly from Shades of Green, the tickets come pre-activated. Otherwise, you'll need to activate them upon your first visit. To do this, you'll need to head over to the ticket counter outside the theme parks or at the
Disney Ticket Center in
Disney Springs. I also recommend purchasing
Memory Maker, as Disney offers a special price for U.S. military members and their families.
Speaking of Shades of Green, you are also eligible to stay at this resort, which is operated by the United States Department of Defense and is exclusive to military members and their families. I've stayed here many times, and my family loves it. The rooms are spacious, and the pool is a favorite among my boys. Staying at Shades of Green also gives you some of the same benefits as Disney Resort hotel guests, including
Early Theme Park Entry and
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, my personal favorites! These perks let you enjoy the parks with fewer crowds and shorter wait times. Be sure to grab an ice cream and check out the Exchange during your stay.
If you're interested in staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I highly encourage you to
call Disney directly, as there are
special offers available to U.S. military personnel and their families. These rooms can only be booked by calling and speaking with a friendly Cast Member. There are so many
wonderful benefits to staying onsite at a Disney Resort hotel. You can also check the
official Disney website for the latest
special offers. I recommend comparing the available specials to find the option that works best for you and offers the most savings.
Catherine, I hope all this information has been helpful and that you have the most magical time at Walt Disney World. It has truly been an honor to assist you today. Please feel free to reach out again anytime.
Your personal planning companion,
Michelle
