I'am a single Dad considering a trip to Disney World. My children are 12, 10, 7 and 2. Are there any services for my younger ones while I ride attractions with the older ones, or do I have to bring another adult.

    Hi Christian!

Thanks for such a great question!  I am a single Dad as well, with a 13 year son.  I applaud you for bringing your family to Walt Disney World because you will make so many incredible memories together as a family!  While I do not know of any in park services that would watch your younger children while you take your older children on rides, I think that I can give you some tips and strategies for this situation.  There are lots of family rides and shows in Walt Disney World that you can all enjoy as a group without having to split up.  I would encourage you to major on those type of rides and attractions.  If there is a ride that your tweens want to ride, then you can let them go on it together (if you feel comfortable with this) while you and the younger children wait for them at the exit of the ride.  The rider swap will probably not be an option because you do not have another adult with you to watch the younger children.  Always make sure to explain your situation to the Cast Members and sometimes they will even let you wait in the line as a family and then take the "chicken exit" to wait at the exit for the children that are riding.

There is always the option of finding another single Dad or extended family member to come with you to help you out as well.  I'm sure that they will have a blast too!  The bottom line is that I have found Walt Disney World to be the absolute best place to take your children for vacation especially if you are a single parent!

I hope that you and your precious family have a truly magical, memory filled trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
