Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lizbeth!
I am thrilled that you and your family will be enjoying the
Disneyland Resort this holiday season! This is really the most magnificent time of year to visit as the spirit of the season can be felt in every corner of the parks. The great thing about the Disneyland Resort is that both parks are absolutely perfect for kids of all ages. My daughter is 4 years old and she rides The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure at
Disney California Adventure Park and Splash Mountain at
Disneyland Park numerous times each visit. Additionally, she loves meeting Anna and Elsa, Sofia the First, and Doc McStuffins who can only be found at Disney California Adventure Park and no trip is complete without walking through Minnie and Mickey's houses in Mickey's Toontown in Disneyland Park. So, if
Park Hopper tickets are in the budget, I recommend them 100 percent!
If you can only visit one park, however, Disneyland Park would be the one to visit. There's nothing quite like strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle in the distance. With eight distinctive lands to explore, oodles of attractions perfect for kids, plus parades and entertainment, you can certainly spend several days in Disneyland Park and not see it all.
I hope this helps you with your decision. Have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
