Hi, Tammy! Disney is a great vacation for all budgets! The best way to find what deals are being offered is to go to
www.disneyworld.com. On the upper right part of the screen, click on Special Offers. Depending on your travel dates, there are discounted rooms and even free dining!
The least expensive option for your resort stay will be at one of the Value Resorts. With a party of 6 you can book either 2 rooms (request that they be connecting) or a Family Suite. A Family Suite, which sleeps 6, will be a good option for you since it has a microwave, mini refrigerator and coffee maker. Since you are driving, you can pack breakfast cereals, lunch meats, milk, bread, and other quick meals and have breakfast or light meals in your room to save money (and for convenience!)
To keep the cost down on your tickets, do not add options like park hopping or water parks. These are great options if they fit into your budget, but you can certainly have a great vacation without them!
Without knowing your travel dates, I cannot tell you what the best deal is at this time. Just keep checking the website for deals, and start booking a trip to get an idea of what kind of costs are involved. You might want to update your profile to have Disney send you updates on vacation specials, and sign up at
www.allears.net and
www.mousesavers.com for their newsletters that have WDW specials.
Have fun planning a magical vacation for your family!
