Hello 👋 iam coming to Disney World and staying for April 7to 13 I got the Disney Deluxe Dining plan and wanted to find out if my meals will all be used with the dining plan and how many credits do we get with the deluxe Dining

    Hi Aman,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy to hear that you have decided to get the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. It is my family's favorite dining plan. We have truly enjoyed so many delicious dining options while on this plan!

This is how the plan works. Once you arrive, all of your meal and snack credits will be loaded to your account. Each guest in your party who is 3-years old and over with the dining plan will receive three meals and two snacks per night of stay. Each of you will also receive a resort refillable mug. We love these mugs and use them multiple times a day at the resort.

I have two tips based on experience. First, remember that your meals are calculated per night of stay. So if you are staying six nights, you will receive 18 meals and 12 snacks per person to use during the entire trip. You can use your meals and snacks in whichever order you choose. For example, we like to eat dinner on the day we arrive and breakfast on the day we depart. Then we use all of our meals and snacks in between. On some days we like to eat dinner at a signature restaurant. Since these typically require two table-service meal credits per person, we may eat a late breakfast, skip lunch and then eat dinner.  To make sure I am not planning to eat for more meals than we have meal credits, I always create a chart with all of our dining plans. You can certainly pay for a meal if you run out of dining credits.

Aman, also remember to calculate the cost of tips when you are planning your budget. When we first did the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan after having done the Disney Dining Plan for years, I totally forgot to factor in the additional cost of tips for all of the table-service meals we added. Those gratuities cost us about $300 more!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
