Bright Suns, Sai!
Welcome back! It's nice to see you stopping by planDisney again!
Having faced this possibility in the past as we prepared to battle the First Order, I suggest that you book either an early morning dining reservation or a dinner reservation. I would not make a lunch reservation. On one visit, we had an 8:00 a.m. breakfast reservation at Hollywood & Vine. Our boarding group was called at about 9:15 a.m. so we had time to finish breakfast. The timing was perfect! On another occasion, our boarding group was called in the early evening, but we had scheduled a later dinner reservation.
Of course, your hunch is correct. As a Resistance ally, you may be needed at a specific time and may have to delay stopping for rations. When you receive the reminder email notification for your dining reservation, there should be a phone number in that notification. In my reminder emails, that number was 407-939-4357.
Designate a member of your party to call and kindly request a cancellation to avoid the no-show charges. We have also just arrived late to an
advanced dining reservation and Cast Members have graciously accommodated us. Just know that there is no guarantee that Cast Members will be able to waive those cancellation penalties or accommodate your party if you arrive late. They do, however, do their best to spread some magic!
I trust that you have followed our galactic communications via the
Disney Parks Blog. Check for
updates to the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance boarding process. Be sure that you have downloaded the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Prepare to join the Gatherers at
Savi's Workshop to build your lightsaber and make sure you have your planetary transport arranged.
Sai, may the Force be with you as you make your way to Batuu!
Good journey,
Donyell
