Hi Daniela,
Welcome to planDisney! Given your description, you can certainly apply to use the
Disability Access Service (DAS). I encourage you to pre-register for the service using the online chat tool that will allow you to speak with a Cast Member.
My family used the pre-registration service prior to our recent trip. Although it took almost four hours, we finally got registered and the last Cast Member we spoke with allowed us to
pre-select two attractions per day of our trip. Be sure to have the
attractions eligible to DAS list handy while on the chat. A few of the attractions we hoped to use for advanced selection DAS were not available, so we adjusted plans. We were able to use DAS for those attractions once in the parks. We did have to join the virtual queue to experience
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Once our group was called, we were able to let a Cast Member know we had DAS and they let us go through a shorter line.
While in the parks, you will see your two pre-selected DAS attractions in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. During the day, you can make one additional DAS selection at a time. Once you scan in for that same-day DAS selection (on some attractions you must scan in twice), you can make another same-day DAS selection. I suggest that you select the return times for your pre-selected DAS attractions carefully. I picked a few return times for late afternoon and, by that time, we wanted to return to the room to rest.
Daniela, I hope you are able to pre-register for the Disability Access Service. Remember that you must call to pre-register within 30 to two days of your visit. We called about a week prior to our visit. I would suggest that you call as soon as possible. Make sure you have the
My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded on your phone. You will use the mobile app to make additional DAS selections.
Magic and memories,
Donyell
