Where does hyperspace hoopla take place? Is it a parade? Where is best place to watch? Going to be at Disney for opening weekend of star tours. Should we go to HS fri or sat? Thanks!!

    Hi there, Danelle!

A Guest favorite during Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Hyperspace Hoopla closes out the day.

On each day of the Weekend. you'll find your favorite Star Wars characters singing, dancing, and engaging in comedy that will have everyone in hysterics, from Padawans to Jedi masters!

The show used to be held on the Jedi Training Academy stage adjacent to Star Tours, but its popularity has necessitated a move to the main stage in front of the Sorcerer's Hat. Of course, you will want to confirm the location on your day of arrival. And get there early for spots in the front, as this event does draw a crowd!

Be sure to grab a Times Guide when you enter the Park; that will have all the information about the day's events.

As for Friday or Saturday? That choice is largely up to you. Maybe Friday would be slightly less crowded if you go in May, and children are still in school, but that's probably an insignificant enough number as to make the days equal. Opening weekend is going to be pretty busy, so make sure you pack extra sunscreen, water, and comfortable shoes.

May the Force be with you!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
