    When will the Hyperion Theater get a new show?

    Hi Shawn,

    Thanks for visiting planDisney!

    The Hyperion Theater has been looking lonely since the end of the limited-time show Rogers: The Musical. I'm personally bummed that I didn’t get to see it. Since its closing, Disney has not yet announced any new show coming to the Hyperion Theater, nor have they shared any news about the theater’s future. I recommend following the Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date with the latest entertainment news in the park.

    If you have any little ones, Shawn, you may be interested to hear that there will be some new entertainment just down Hollywood Boulevard at the Disney Theater. Starting May 16, the Disney Theater will be home to Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!—a fun show where little ones can dance along with Mickey, Minnie, and the gang.

    Across the way at Disneyland, Pixar Pals Playtime Party will also be returning to Fantasyland Theatre starting May 23, 2025. It’s a great opportunity to see lots of Pixar characters in one place. Hopefully, they’ll stick around between performances to meet guests!
