Hy :) super excited just 37 more days to our disney trip very sudden booking a couple of days ago we r travelling from uk to usa and i have heard that the phone and camera chargers used here in uk cant be used in usa ? any advice about what to do?

    Hi Madiha,

I am not surprised that you are excited!

Firstly, you will need to bring some travel adapters with you so that you can plug your electrical items into the American plug sockets.

Secondly, as voltage in the USA is 110 volts and here in the UK it is 230 volts, you will need to read the small print on your phone and camera chargers to ensure that they will operate between 100 - 230 volts.

We have never had an issue with charging any of our phones or cameras during previous visits to Walt Disney World. The vast majority of chargers will work absolutely fine.

To help you further with your planning, I would recommend that you visit the My Holiday Planner website where you can watch a number of videos including my top tips which are aimed specifically at helping UK Guests plan their trips to Walt Disney World.

If I can be of any further help, please don't hesitate to ask me another question.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
