Hi there, Kelley! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
One of the best things about
Disneyland Resort is the way that they strive to make the magic accessible to everyone. Disneyland Resort offers a wide range of accommodations to assist Guests with special needs.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is one of those accommodations. DAS is intended for Guests who cannot wait in a traditional queue environment due to a disability. If your needs are strictly mobility related, you will not need to register for DAS.
If you take a look at this
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities page, you will see a listing of Disneyland Resort
attractions and how they can be accessed by Guests who have mobility needs. There are some experiences that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV). For some attractions, Guests may stay seated in a wheelchair or ECV throughout the queue and then transfer into the ride vehicle. If the size of the queue cannot accommodate a Guest's wheelchair or ECV, the Guest may be asked to transfer to a smaller wheelchair at the queue entrance. If you have a question about how to access a particular attraction, you can always speak with the Cast Members at the attraction's entrance.
Kelley, if you wish to discuss your specific needs and the best way to accommodate them prior to your Disneyland Resort visit, please feel free to reach out to a Disability Services Cast Member. Their phone number and email address can be found on this
Services for Guests with Disabilities page.
Wishing you a magical Disneyland Resort vacation!
