Hi, It's my husbands 50th birthday a few days before we are on our 7 night cruise, and I wondered if i bought the celebration package do they decorate the cabin with it before we arrived? Or is it just delivered and left for us to do? Many thanks.

    Hi, Kathryn!

Happy Birthday to your hubby!  That's so exciting that you're embarking on a Disney cruise right after his big celebration -- you can just keep that party going on the ship, too!

You can purchase the Celebration Package from the Gifts & Amenities Page on DisneyCruise.com by downloading the form and sending it in, or you can call (800) 601-8455.  If you simply purchase the package, it will be delivered to your stateroom but not set up. However, if you call to purchase, you may can request that the decorations adorn your stateroom when you arrive on Embarkation Day.  You may have to pay an extra fee (or tip someone separately), but I think it's worth it for when the birthday boy arrives in his room.  Good thinking, Kathryn!

Also...don't forget to note his birthday on your reservation, and remind your servers at dinner one evening for a special dessert presentation.  Or, you can arrange for a celebration of his big 5-0 at a dinner at Palo one evening. There are lots of special ways to commemorate a milestone on a Disney ship, and the folks at Disney Cruise Line's Guest Relations are pros at helping guests.  When you're on board, ask them for some ideas, too.

Thanks for visiting me here on the Disney Moms Panel, and let me know if you think of anything else I can do to help. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
