    It will be my husband’s birthday the day we arrive. Can I advance order a birthday card to be waiting in our room? I only see that they can be ordered in a restaurant.

    Hello, Jessica! I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney! It looks like you'll be at The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a matter of days, so let's jump in!

    Walt Disney World is the place where we never have to grow up, so I think it's the perfect place to celebrate a birthday. Currently, Disney does not have a program to have a card waiting in your room for you. In most situations, you need to be present to accept an in-room delivery. There are lots of ways to acknowledge your husband's special day, though: 

    • Magical Floral & Gifts has a selection of arrangements that you can order online or over the phone. If you are unable to receive it in your room, they can leave it at the front desk of your resort.
    • If you haven't already, note your husband's birthday on your reservation. You can do this by logging in to your My Disney Experience account, choosing the Change Reservation option, and adding it in the notes section. You can also call Walt Disney World Tickets and Hotel Reservations and have a Cast Member add it for you.
    • If you make any dining reservations, be sure to let them know it's your husband's birthday week! You can even order a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to be brought to your table.
    • As always, ask Guest Relations for a birthday button. It is a fun way to let others know it's his special day, and it gives Cast Members the opportunity to acknowledge it!
