    My husband and I, and our 6 year old son are visiting for the first time in December. We are booked at Disney All-Star Sports Resort and we also have our park tickets and a dining plan and magic bands. Is it possible to upgrade our hotel at this time?

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Nice to know that you are going to WDW for the fist time. To verify that, you will have to call Disney, they will have to look for an availability at another resort. At my experience, it's a crowded time but I think that it's possible. As soon as you call them, the better. If you decide on not upgrading at this time, don't worry your resort is fine and for the first time traveler it's enough. You will not have time to stay at the resort anyway. You are just going to need a nice bath and bed to rest at night, after visiting the parks and Disney Springs. If you do want to upgrade try Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, both great and really beautiful.
