My husband and I and our two year old son will be going to Disney in April 2008. We are currently booked at Port Orleans French Quarter. We are booked for 8 days...should we consider a deluxe resort?

Port Orleans French Quarter is one of our favorite resorts.

The New Orleans at Mardi Gras theme is playful and fun. It is a small, quaint resort compared to the other moderate hotels which makes for shorter walks especially when pushing a stroller.

Your 2 year old son will enjoy the playground which is near the pool. The pool’s dragon slide was a huge hit with our son when he was younger!

Utilize the boat transportation to Downtown Disney which is a pleasant journey for adults and an exciting adventure for younger children.

Your family can walk to Port Orleans Riverside for additional meal options.

For the moderate price, Port Orleans French Quarter offers a great bargain.

While I love the deluxe hotels with valet parking, sit down restaurants including fine dining, and larger room sizes, I think you’ll enjoy your vacation at the French Quarter.
