My husband, 2yr old & I are going to WDW 12/27-31 and we want to be at magic kingdom on the 31st. If we purchase a park hopper ticket can we leave magic kingdom and have guarantee entrance at another park? how crowded does magic kingdom get on the 31st

    Hi Jennifer!

Walt Disney World will be absolutely beautiful during your visit.  The parks and resorts will all be decorated for the holidays and there will be holiday music playing!  However, it will also be crowded!  Based on past years, there's a very good chance the Magic Kingdom will close due to capacity on December 31st.  However, as a resort guest, you will be guaranteed access to at least one theme park that day; Epcot is the theme park that can absorb the most guests and it almost never closes due to capacity!

Since you are going during a busy time, I recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  That's the website for the research team behind "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  They have a lot of time saving information on their website.  I'm a huge fan of their work.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
