Bonjour Lindsay,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question! For such a short stay and given the fact that you're travelling with a child under the age of 3, I'm not entirely sure that a
Disney Dining Plan would be a worthwhile expense for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
I've found that the Dining Plan is just way too much food for my family, especially because we usually like splitting a few appetizer plates between the three of us. We're also not big on dessert... although my two-year old son would beg to differ!! Plus, because you're only planning to visit Magic Kingdom Park for one day, I'm not even sure that you would be able to use your snack/quick-service entitlements to their fullest. Finally, and probably most importantly, because you're travelling with a two-year old, they aren't eligible for any of the Disney Dining Plans. You would either pay out-of-pocket for their meals or, if you dine in a buffet or family-style restaurant, they're able to eat at no charge!
Of course, if you want the cost-certainty that comes with a Disney Dining Plan (which can be a BIG bonus for many Guests), then I think that the "regular" Disney Dining Plan, with one table service, one quick service and one snack entitlement, per person, per night.
I hope this answers your question and please don't hesitate to come back and visit us if you need any other help planning your vacation!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
