My husband, our 4 yr. old son and I are staying at CBR 4/28-5/5. It is our son's 1st Disney vacation and we are hoping to experience the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. How much does this cost per person and how long is the cruise? Thanks so much!

    Ahoy there Katie!

The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is awesome fun!  Adult tickets are $53.99 each and child tickets (ages 3 - 9) are $30.99 (price is always subject to change).  The adventure begins 1 hour & 15 minutes before Wishes and lasts approximately  1 hour and 45 minutes.

The adventure begins at the Contemporary Resort. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee will greet you and your shipmates but they do not sail with you. You'll be treated to some pirate grub and grog (A.K.A - yummy snacks and non-alcoholic beverages) by a motley crew before boarding your sea worthy vessel and set sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon. Your pirate host will keep you entertained with Disney trivia, songs and tales of the sea until the fireworks begin. If you are lucky, you'll also catch a close-up view of the Electrical Water Pageant that sails on select evenings.

The view of Cinderella Castle and the fireworks is incredible from the boat and an added bonus is that they aren't as loud so your son won't be frightened of the loud noises.  Following the fireworks, your pirate host will entertain you with the tale of Peter Pan and more trivia questions as you sail back to port at the Contemporary.  The adventure concludes with a visit from a very special guest once you dock.  I won't give it away but will tell all you ladies that its not Jack Sparrow.

You can make reservations by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.  You can also check once you're on-site at the Concierge Desk of any Disney Resort or Theme Park Guest Relations.  However, I recommend making your reservations in advance if you decide to do it.  Full payment is required upon making your reservations but there is a 48 hour cancellation policy.

Wishing you magical memories and big adventures on the high seas :-)
