My husband, 2yr old daughter and I will go to WDW 12/27-12/31. My question is, if we go to a park on a day when it had extra magic hours but are not staying at a Disney resort will we be asked to leave the park at its regular closing time?

    Hi Jennifer!

Unfortunately, the answer is "yes".  If you are in a theme park that offers Evening Extra Magic Hours and you are not a Walt Disney World Resort guest (i.e. staying in a Disney owned and operated hotel or at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, or at the Downtown Disney Hilton) then you will not be able to enjoy any of the attractions after the park closes.  All guests will need to show their room key to enjoy an attraction and in fact guests not eligible for the Extra Magic Hours will be directed toward the park exit.

I hope this helps with your planning.  Write back if you have any more questions!
