Hi My husband and I will like to take our 4 years old Emily to Disneyworld and don't have an idea where to start or do we have never done this and I want it room be special for Emily, November 27 is the date we selected 9 days .tips help, from NY,

Hello Brenda!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

Let´s start with resort - Disney´s Art of Animation is one of the best resorts for kids, but some Deluxe Resorts are located really close to one or two theme parks.
The Polynesian Resort, with an awesome pool and great transportation to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, allows your family more time to sleep or to be at the parks.  Using a taxi or your own car is another excellent way to save precious time during your vacation.

The date you have selected is one of my personal favorites, since all Christmas decorations and special events are at full swing.
Make sure to enjoy Mickey´s Very Merry Christmas Party.  For this event, I suggest taking a midday nap at the resort and visiting the night before a day at the resort.

Visiting each theme park is highly recommended.   If possible, allocate two or three full days to Magic Kingdom and two to Animal Kingdom.

Arriving at the parks before opening time allows me to enjoy 2 to 3 hours of a more relaxed environment.  Late hours can also be more relaxed at the parks.

Make Advance Dining Reservations, with up to 180 days in advance, for all the meals your family will enjoy.  Take the time to look at the menus and experiences each meal has to offer.
For most dining experiences it is really recommended to make reservations.

Among others I recommend Artist Point, California Grill, Crystal Palace, ´Ohana, Grand Floridian Cafe, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Jiko - The Cooking Place and Mama Melrose´s.

Do not forget to make reservations at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and The Pirates League (mermaid package).

Glad to help you plan a memorable Disney vacation.
