Hello Lauren!
As the mom of 5 girls, I always find something new to try with my princesses at Walt Disney World! If it's fun for a 5-year-old you're looking for, you've come to the right place. Here are some of our favorites!
The Pirates League- If Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is not your style, a
Pirates League experience may be right for your matey. My girls did the Empress package with different make-up colors, face gems, and even a bit of a variation in the hair. My daughters also enjoyed receiving their Official Pirate Name and going through the hidden chamber once they were officially sworn in as pirates! But don't ye go tellin' all our secrets, because dead men tell no tales.
Wonderland Tea Party- Two of my daughters attended the Wonderland Tea Party at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and had a splendidly mad time! The Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland, along with Cast Members, play games, have "tea," decorate cupcakes, make a craft and have lots of laughs. One of the rules, however, is no parents allowed. To make reservations for the Wonderland Tea Party, please call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Don't be late for this very important date!
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage- My whole family loved setting sail on a Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage! Depart from Disney's Contemporary Resort and snap photos with that codfish Captain Hook and Smee. Don't eat dessert, because you'll have cotton candy, ice cream, popcorn, and more! Soak up the Disney magic as you wish upon a star during Wishes Nighttime Spectacular on a boat from the Seven Seas Lagoon. Then a surprise visitor will be waiting as you disembark from your cruise. Please call (407) 934-7639 for reservations.
Wishing you a magical, fantastical vacation!
