My husband, 13 year old, and 10 year old will be arriving at DW in 11 days! When we arrive at a restaurant with a reservation, do I say party of 4 adults or 3 adults and 1 child? I realize that my 10 year old is considered an adult with the dining plan.

    Hello Shelley!
You must be getting SO excited! The magic is just DAYS away.

When you arrive at a dining location where you have a reservation it is likely that all you will have to provide is the name under which you have the reservation. However, I do recommend always having your confirmation number available. In my experience, the Cast Member will already know how many people are in your party. Also, it is my experience that the server will confirm the number in your party and whether or not you are on the dining plan. Your Magic Bands will contain all the information necessary to utilize your Dining Plan. I hope this helps to clarify. Not matter what, I think you will find the Cast Members at all of the restaurants to be helpful if you have any concerns or questions.

    Have a great trip!

I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
