Me my husband and my 17 year old son are going to walt disney world on Christmas Day 2012 and we have been many times and me and my son would like to do something special for my husband to thank him for the fabulous holidays can any one recommend anything

    Hi Kay!

Thank you so much for stopping by to see us today!  I have to admit, I have a big smile on my face right now.  Your son is so sweet for wanting to think of something special he can do to thank his dad for all of the magical memories you've shared over the years at Walt Disney World.

I have several ideas, which will all depend on your budget.  My first instinct was to visit the DisneyFlorist.com website.  The Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts can create the most wonderful surprises for any occasion.  The Honor Your Hero package is a great way for your son to tell his father "you're special and thank you".

You could also custom order a specialty cake from one of Walt Disney World's bakeries.  You could do something as simple as his favorite flavor cake with a "Thanks, dad" message to a elaborate cake featuring his favorite character.  Cakes can be delivered to select dining locations or picked up at the bakeries.  You can call the "Cake Hotline" at 407-827-2253.

Lastly, if your husband and son are sportsmen, you could check to see if there are any fishing excursions available during your stay.  The men could have some bonding time while you shop or relax for a few hours.  You can call 407-939-2277 for availability and pricing information.

I hope this gives you a few ideas for your son, Kay! Please come back and see us again real soon!
