My husband, 9 year old son and I plan on doing a quick trip to DW March 26,27,28. Sunday being Easter I cannot decide which park to attend. We plan on doing 2 days at MK and one at HS.

    Hi Michele,

Your trip is so soon, you must be getting excited!

One important consideration for planning for your park days is that you are going over Easter weekend, which is a very popular time to visit Walt Disney World, and thus, all of the parks will see high crowds. I suggest that you prepare for this by making sure that you have made Disney FastPass+ selections so that you can experience some attractions with shorter wait times. I also suggest that you head to the theme parks early each day. If you plan to arrive 30 minutes at least before the posted opening time, you will be amazed at how much you can get done in the early hours that the parks are open due to the smaller crowds at this time of day.

The park that I suggest that you visit on Easter is going to depend if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you will be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, in which Walt Disney World resort guests are allowed to enter a theme park early. On Sunday March 27, I see that Disney's Hollywood Studios has Extra Magic Hours starting at 8:00 a.m. If you are a Walt Disney World resort guest, I suggest that you go to Disney's Hollywood Studios that Sunday. Plan to arrive at 7:30 a.m. and you can do so much in that first hour! If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort, I suggest that instead you head to Magic Kingdom on that Sunday, plan to arrive at 8:30 a.m. so that you are still one of the first guests in the park. Please do know that park hours are subject to change, so monitor the Walt Disney World park hours to see if any changes are made for your stay.

Have a great time planning your magical vacation, Michele!
