My husband, 8 year old son and I will be arriving at WDW 3 weeks from today and staying at All Star Movies resort. This is our first trip to WDW!! We've paid the upgrade to stay in the Toy Story area. Is there any area in this section that is best?

    Hi Cheryl!

All Star Movies is my favorite of the three All Star Resorts.  Most children your son's age absolutely love the theming of the resort.  The Toy Story area is basically just south of Cinema Hall (check-in area) and the Fantasia pool.  It's basically two "T' shaped buildings facing each other.  I don't think there's a room that is particular better than another, though I personally like staying on the top floor of the resort buildings when I stay there.  I just think it's a little bit quieter.  If you want to be closer to the pool and Cinema Hall, just request that when you check-in; however, I think it's more noisy there than at the far end of the Toy Story building.

Have a magical vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
