Hello, My husband and I would like to take our 14, 3, 2, 1 year old to Disney what would be a good package for us? We plan to stay 4 to 7 days with the right package. Can someone help me?

    Hi La Tonya!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

That's a really hard question.  There's no right answer and the exact vacation plan depends on the time you have available, your budget, and your interests.  However, I do suggest the following:
    • Decide when you want to go.  The least crowded time at Walt Disney World is when older children are typically in school.  Also, it can be very hot and humid in the summer time.
    • With young children, you should consider staying in a Magic Kingdom monorail resort if your budget allows.  That will allow you to easily return to your hotel for a nap or break from both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
    • If your budget doesn't allow staying in a Magic Kingdom monorail resort, then I suggest staying at Port Orleans Riverside (a Disney Moderate Resort) or in a Family Suite at a Disney Value Resort.  There are family suites in the All Star Resort and in the new Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
    • I would plan on staying a minimum of 5 nights if your budget allows.  That would allow you to spend at least one day in each theme park.
If you want more personalized help in making a decision, I suggest working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  He or she is a travel agent that specializes in vacations to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, onboard the Disney Cruise Line, and with Adventures by Disney.  The services are generally free to guests and he or she can even help with making dining reservations.  Just be sure to look for the Authorized Disney Vacation Planner logo!

I hope this helps to get you started!  Write back with more questions!
