Brooke from MI Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Me, my husband, 5 year old daughter and 1 year old son will be sailing this spring. I want to book the Royal Tea gathering for my daughter. Is my 1 year old allowed with us? Me and dad both want to experience this with her.

    Hello, Brooke,

Our youngest daughter attended the Royal Court Royal Tea on our family's second Disney Cruise. She loved it! The interactions with Disney Princesses were so charming. The keepsakes she received are treasured mementos of a royal fantasy come true. You are all going to adore this precious experience.

Guests between three and twelve years old are invited to join their royal hosts for a delightful tea party at the Royal Court Royal Tea, which is offered on some of the Disney Cruise Line ships, including the Disney Dream. A parent or guardian must accompany each participating child. If desired, more than one parent or guardian may attend with their child, with each guest age 13 or older being charged the full adult price for the event. Note that only children between three and twelve will receive the keepsake gifts that come with the package experience.

Unfortunately, guests under three years old are not permitted to attend the Royal Tea event. If both parents wish to experience the gathering with an eligible child, other children not attending may enjoy other offerings on the ship. Children registered for the Oceaneer Club may check in there for secure programming. Children between six months and three years old may be signed up for a visit to the "it's a small world" nursery! while their parents or guardians are enjoying other activities. Be sure to check information about booking windows and policies for activities, including the nursery, the Royal Tea, and more.

Hopefully, your younger child's time to experience the elegant Royal Tea will come soon. In the meantime, I hope you all have a most magical cruise this time around. If there's anything else we can help answer, we'd love to hear from you again at planDisney. As fellow Guests like you, it's our pleasure to share recommendations and information based on our personal experiences sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Line.

    Have a magical cruise, Brooke!
