My husband and 9 year old daughter and myself are visiting 12/20/10 to 12/26/10. I haven't flown or done Disney since 2000. What should I pack due to the season? I have my own ECV due to a chronic disease, any advice? Thanks!

    Hi Lisa!

Definitely bring lots of layers! During this time of year I will usually wear jeans, a t-shirt and a sweatshirt or cardigan. By mid-day when the sun is shining I can take that warmer layer off and tie it around my waist. Once the sun goes down it gets chilly again, so keep that layer handy!

Sometimes, it does get cool enough in the evenings where the kids want to wear their sweater gloves...you know the kind you can buy for a $1 in the super mart stores? So, I do pack those as a just in case. They are small & barely take up any room in a bag! Don't forget to bring rain ponchos just in case one of those Florida showers pop up! We pick ours up at the dollar store.

Here's a funny tip in case you get cold and want something to cover your lap in the Parks, but didn't want to lug in a blanket....We purchase those great big Disney beach towels to use as a blanket. They are less expensive than the lap throws & they get a lot of use from the kids when Summer swimming starts back up!

I hope that you have a fabulous time in Disney, full of special memories and Disney Magic!
