My husband and I have a 6 year old and an almost 2 year old and are planning to come in mid August. Is that a good time of year to take them we have never been before and I want it to be warm so we can enjoy the water parks but don't want to be miserable.

    Hi Danielle!

What great ages to bring your kids!  My kids absolutely love Walt Disney World, and you'll be able to enjoy lots of time at the water parks!

Keep in mind that it is warm and humid in August, so it will give you ample opportunities to cool off at the water parks.  If you're looking for a milder time to visit, I'd suggest October.  The temperatures tend to moderate a bit, but it still gets plenty warm for water fun!

    Have a magical vacation!
