My husband and I would like to take the Wild Africa Trek in the Animal Kingdom and would like to know if there is a better time of day to go to see more animals and activities.

    Hi Patricia,

You are going to love the Wild Africa Trek. Some of my Disney Parks Moms Panel friends and I did the trek together in September, and it ranks among the best experiences I've ever had at Walt Disney World.

I honestly don't think the time of day should affect your experience much, especially if the weather is relatively cool. We did our trek at 1:30 in the afternoon on a really hot day -- when the animals sometimes are less active -- and still saw lots of animal activity. You will get very close to the hippos and crocodiles during the walking part of the tour. And the guides do a great job of assuring that you have awesome views of the other animals during your VIP truck tour of the savanna.

Make sure you are hungry for the food portion of the experience. It was delicious!

Have a wonderful time. And please let me know if I can do anything else to help as you plan your Disney visit.
