Welcome aboard, Susan -
Sounds like a spectacular family vacation you've got brewing! Sailing with the family onboard any of the Disney Cruise ships is a great way to vacation. You'll get equal amounts of family bonding time - as well as have individual family members have time on their own. It's a great vacation choice for a multi-generational family getaway.
Your youngest buccaneer at almost-3 years old can still enjoy the
Oceaneer Club. Every day, the youth clubs offer Open House schedules. This is the perfect time for a parent to bring the little ones to play and explore there. As you already know, the Oceaneer Club has amazing themed-spaces full of life-size Disney stories that are brought to life. It makes spending time in there soooo much fun! She can explore the different themed spaces and even be part of any of the activities that they might have going on.
The age restrictions have been getting stricter - but if your princess is fully potty trained and appears to be well on her own at that time, you might want to check with one of the Youth Counselors if they will allow her to age-up (with appropriate authorizations from you), so that she can play at the Oceaneer Club on her own. Rules and restrictions may change on this as we head into the future, of course.
I hope this answers your question. Good luck with planning this amazing family vacation, Susan! You and your family will definitely
enjoy Disney a different way with Disney Cruise Line!
Have a magical day!
