My husband wears glasses and I will be carrying a purse. I have been to some theme parks where you can't have any loose items before riding intense rides. Do most rides at Disney have places to secure loose items right before the ride starts?

    Hi Amy!

You can bring a purse, a bag filled with Disney souvenirs, or even a backpack on every attraction at Walt Disney World!  I personally recommend bringing a small backpack to carry things in and then you just carry that on to the ride.  Even for the most thrilling ride, which is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, a looping roller coaster, you can just carry the backpack on with you; the method of choice for securing it on that particular attraction appears to be putting your foot and leg through one of the backpack loops!  That said, there are lockers in a central location in all of the theme parks.

Most of the attractions at Walt Disney World are not thrill rides requiring you to get rid of your items.  I wear glasses and I wear then on every ride at Walt Disney World with nothing to hold them on; the only time I really ever get nervous is on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Space Mountain.  On those attractions, I always wonder if I will lose my glasses, but so far I haven't and I've been on them since they were built!

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
