My husband and I are going to WDW from 8/9-8/16. This will be our 4th time. I wanted to know about the Star Wars ride. I do not have a good stomach for rides that will shake you up a lot. Is there something someone can tell us what we could do this trip?

    Angela,

I'm right there with you; I usually avoid Star Tours after leaving many years ago with very upset stomach.  However, I discovered last year that if I sit as close to the absolute center of the ride it has the least amount of movement (mention your request to a cast member), and I survived the ride!  Also I make sure the time I go on the ride is a time when I'm not overly hot and not with a full or overly empty tummy just to make the situation as best as possible.

I also have read about other guests who opt to use anti-nausea medicine/wristbands/patches beforehand, but I've never done that so I'm not sure of its effects.

And of course, you can certainly go through the queue with your husband and once you get to the loading area, just let a cast member know that you'd rather not ride and you will be taken to an exit where you can meet up with your husband in Tatooine Traders (the gift shop that riders exit into after the ride).

PS:   I've never been on Mission Space yet; way too scared!!
