Hi, Amanda!
Thanks so much for sending this question to
Disney Parks Moms Panel; it's a great one.
Using your snack entitlements from your
Disney Dining Plan while touring
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a brilliant way to get the most bang for your Disney dollar. When you utilize the 2 snacks per night of stay per person on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, eating your way around the World Showcase will be a culinary dream come true!
When touring Food & Wine Festival as well as
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, I take photos of menus available, noting which items are eligible for purchase using a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. You'll be happy to know that most non-alcoholic beverages and small plates count as a snack. Occasionally, you may find an item or two that are not eligible, but these are often pairings which include wine or are pricier than a typical small plate item in Global Marketplaces.
A great source of
unofficial Walt Disney World information is AllEars.net. Head there and, in the search bar, enter "2015 Food & Wine menu images". You'll then see AllEars links to all things Food & Wine. This is my go-to source for checking previous years' menus, pricing, pics and details of what was covered by Dining Plans. The DDP symbol to the right lets you know what counted as a snack then, and hyperlinks embedded in some of the menu items let you take a look at some past offerings. Yum!
Send more questions as you plan, Amanda; we love to help!
