Hi Lynsey!
You have picked a fabulous time of year to visit Walt Disney World, the decorations are amazing and not to mention all the delicious treats.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite events, the magic of watching snow fall on Main Street while sipping your hot coco and eating cookies is pure magic!
Deciding whether or not to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party depends on what you and your husband are interested in doing. The decorations, such as the lights on Cinderella's Castle, can be seen on non-party nights as well.Special events that can only be seen during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party include:
- Holiday Wishes
- Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas Parade (I love the Toy Soldiers!)
- Special character meet 'n greets with characters dressed in their holiday attire. You will even get the opportunity to meet characters that are not often seen in the parks such as the Seven Dwarfs.
- Free hot coco and cookies
- Snow on Main Street
- Character dance parties and special stage shows
In my personal opinion,I think that everyone should attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at least once. If you are going mainly to look at the decorations and don't really plan to attend any of the special events, you could probably use the cost of admission toward a number of other special experiences. I also highly recommend taking a tour of the Deluxe resorts during the holiday season, the gingerbread creations are phenomenal! You can even purchase your very own gingerbread confection to take home.
I hope you have a magical vacation and please visit us again if you have anymore questions!
Best Wishes!
Mandy
