My husband to be and I are going to WDW for our Honeymoon in January. In the past we have attended the Club Villain event and loved it! We would like recommendations for special things to do that are similar to Club Villain?

    Hi Catherine!

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! I will admit to being a bit of a wedding fanatic. I love all the details and planning! The Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place for a honeymoon and I think I have some great ideas for you. While Club Villain is not offered currently, Disney does have an amazing variety of Enchanting Extras to make your honeymoon magical.

Disney’s newest Character Dining experience is Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. Enjoy themed entries like Magic Mirror Slow-braised Pork Shank, while Dopey and Grumpy stop by your table and the Evil Queen is lurking just around the corner! For a more upscale dining experience, how about Celebration at the Top - Savor, Sip, and Sparkle? You’ll enjoy small plates and wine at California Grill, followed by viewing Happily Ever After on a private patio. Another popular option is the Highway in the Sky Progressive Dine Around where you are transported via Monorail to dine at the resorts around the Seven Seas Lagoon. This dinner too ends with a spectacular view of the fireworks. Or watch the show with desserts from the lagoon itself on the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise!

Did you know Disney has a dueling piano bar? How about a visit to Disney’s BoardWalk and stop by Jellyrolls one night? Or if dancing is your thing, kick up your heels next door at the Atlantic Dance Hall!

Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney After Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park are currently both scheduled for January. These specially ticketed events mean shorter-than-usual waits for the most popular attractions, along with snacks and beverages to keep you going late into the night!

My husband and I loved our adventure on the Wild Africa Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It's the perfect activity if you are wanting something truly unique. You’ll get up close to some of the animals in their habitats, climb across a rope bridge, and enjoy a wonderful lunch on the savanna.

I hope some of these ideas sound exciting for you, Catherine, wishing you all the happiness on your upcoming marriage.
