My husband and I are going to WDW the first week of May (we purchased the stay 4 days, get 3 days free) and are wondering if it's going to be crowed and if it is do you recommend another set of dates? It's just us and we want a relaxing week.

Hi Annie.   If you are looking to visit during the Spring months, this is actually a pretty good week.   I have personally been to Disney in early May twice before and recall the crowds to be reasonable.

On your behalf, I checked with the website maintained by my favorite visitor's guide (Unofficial Guide to WDW) that maintains a daily crowd projection.   Compared to the weeks throughout April and those in later May, this week was noted as being lighter.    Based upon crowd levels where I live in Florida, I can concur as this time follows the more peak times during Easter Holidays and Spring Break and precedes Memorial Day and early Summer crowds.    Another positive is the weather is quite nice, being warm (but not too hot) and generally dry.

So, if this time of year is preferred by you, I think you have chosen well.   Hope this helps and have a great time!
