Hi Gracie! Welcome to planDisney, and happy early anniversary.
I am also planning on celebrating my anniversary at
California Grill this June…and
also staying at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! I think there’s a song about that…
”it’s a small world, after all.” We are both going to have fantastic celebrations! Cheers to many more.
If you ask me, there is no better place to celebrate than the Walt Disney World Resort, and the team at California Grill knows how to make it special. From the upscale ambiance to gorgeous castle views to the mouthwatering food and beverages, it’s sure to be a memorable and romantic evening.
From Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, you’ll need to use
Walt Disney World Bus Service to Magic Kingdom Park and then walk to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It’s a fairly short walk using the dedicated walkway. You could also choose to take Uber, Lyft, or a taxi – you may need to show your reservation confirmation using the My Disney Experience mobile app as you enter the security gates at the hotel. My husband and I tend to use rideshare for our Disney “date nights,” because it makes it feel kind of special, and if I’m wearing heels, I want the most direct route! Coming home, as long as your dinner is done within an hour after the closing time for Magic Kingdom Park, you should be able to take a bus back to your resort hotel from Magic Kingdom.
Enjoy every bite and sip of your California Grill anniversary celebration. Since you’re celebrating something special, did you hear about the new
Capture Your Moment photo experience? You can book a 20-minute session with a Disney PhotoPass photographer and the photos are included with your Memory Maker. It would be so much fun to do an anniversary shoot in one of your favorite Disney spots! Also, be sure to pick up celebration buttons at the front desk of your hotel, Guest Services, or merchandise locations – that way, you can share with your fellow Guests and Cast Members that you are celebrating your happily ever after!
Wishing you a magical anniversary dinner, and a magical vacation,
Robyn
