My husband and I will be at WDW for 4 days in October, during the Wine Festival. Will there be special events at the World Showcase in Epcot during this time that are included in our Park Entrance, and how many days should we set aside for Epcot?

    Hey Donna!

Epcot will be hopping will all sorts of fun things to do during the International Food & Wine Festival! Set aside at least 2 days for it. Check out this link to read further: International Food & Wine Festival

There will be complimentary seminars & demonstrations that you can attend. My husband is a Chef & will be putting on a few of these shows the first week of the festival!

There will be a nightly 'Eat to the Beat' concert series, with stars lined up like Sugar Ray, Taylor Dayne, Air Supply, & many, many more! All these names are subject to change as we get closer to October.

In the World Showcase proper there will be more than 25 additional kiosks set up serving small "tapas" sized portions of exotic foods from around the world. The prices for these are very reasonable & it's a lot of fun to just walk around the World Showcase eating like this instead of making proper dinner reservations.

If you like wine or beer, there are lots of fun tastings & speakers from wineries & breweries. My husband & I found lots of amazing wines for our restaurant last year at the Epcot Food & Wine Fest!

If you enjoy books, look for the 'Authors Without Borders' speakers & booksignings during the festival. I found lots of great authors last year.

With the exception of the food kiosks the activities should be included with your ticket price! Which is one reason that this fest makes it my favorite time to be in Epcot!  This could be subject to change from last year, but I sure hope not!

    Have a great time!
