Me and my husband are going to WDW this Christmas, our son will be 2. Do I need to include him in our park reservations? Or will he just be let through? We have 2 14 day Disney magic tickets.

Hey there Sasha and welcome planDisney!

You're giving a whole new meaning to the words Merry Christmas this year. A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort would make any season bright, but this one positively takes the fruit cake! The gingerbread creations will be on display across several Disney Resort Collection hotels, the parks will be draped in their finest holiday bunting, and Santa Claus will be making the rounds everywhere you look and your little boy will bear witness to all of it.

At just 2 years old during your visit, your baby boy is still considered a Guest of the main mouse, himself, Mickey. He doesn't need to worry about a Theme Park Ticket or a Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System. He should be able to come in with y'all without a problem. At the most, a Cast Member may ask how old he is just to be sure. If he's as chatty as my goddaughter was at that age, he'll probably shout it out himself before you even get the chance!

Pro-tip: While your son doesn't need a Theme Park Reservation, he will need to be included in any Advanced Dining Reservations you make. Don't forget to add him to your party number for those meals.

Sasha, I'm so glad I was able to clear that up for you. If you have any other questions please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
