My husband and I are going to WDW to celebrate our 10th Anniversary in late January. We have dinner reservations at the California Grill at 5:10 PM. Is that going to be too early to stay and enjoy the fireworks at 8PM? Any advice is appreciated!

Hello Erin and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Firstly I'd like to personally send you and your dear husband my hearty congratulations on your the occasion of your 10th wedding anniversary.  A decade of marriage is such a wonderful milestone to honour during your upcoming January trip to Walt Disney World Resort and I can't think of anywhere more magical to celebrate!
You've already made such a delightful choice of restaurant to dine in by deciding on the California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort and what a befitting way to commemorate your 10th wedding anniversary than with a viewing of Happily Ever After!  I have some great news to share - Guests who have Advanced Dining Reservations at the California Grill before the scheduled fireworks time may simply show their dining receipts at the Check-in Desk on the 2nd floor to gain re-entry to enjoy the nighttime spectacular from the restaurant lounge area or observation deck.
Plus be sure to have your special occasion noted onto your Resort Reservation and to collect an 'I'm celebrating' button from any Guest Relations - wearers of these cute buttons are usually wished a happy day by Cast Members and other friendly Guests alike.
    Have a great Disney day.
