My husband and I will be at WDW beginning 9/15/2012 for 8 days. I would love to attend MNSSHP, however I am not inclined to buy, pack, and wear a costume in Mid-September. Are you required to dress in costume or would Mickey Gear work?

    Hello, Carol!

For Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you certainly are not required to wear a costume.

You'll see guests of all ages, of course, dressed in both Disney and non-Disney-themed attire, but you'll also see folks just there to enjoy the sights and sounds of the party.  We saw many costumed families heading to the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party last fall, as we headed back from Epcot one afternoon, and I promise you that people watching will become a new favorite for you on this upcoming trip!  Should you wish to trick-or-treat, however, you might feel more comfortable sporting your favorite Mickey gear.

Have a wonderful trip and be sure to send me more questions as you think of them! I'd love to help!
